An illustration to commemorate the 102nd edition of the Tour de France.
The 2105 Tour De France course has been designed to pay homage to the 40th anniversary of the King of The Mountains jersey. A relentlessly tough parcours takes the riders across a series of Spring Classic style stages in the first week - including stints on the cobbles and the testing slopes Belgium's most famous berg - the Mur de Huy - before throwing them at the ever increasing slopes of the Pyrenees and the Alps.
The crescendo of a course culminates with a summit showdown on Alpe d'Huez on the final racing stage before the traditional sprint on the Champs Elysees, which is also celebrating its 40th anniversary.
With the strongest line-up in years taking to the start in Utrecht, this will be one to remember. Our print records all the daily stage and jersey winners as well as overall statistics about the biggest race of the year.
