Ride The Trafalgar Way

£45.00

"In October 1805 the Battle of Trafalgar took place, following which news of the British Navy victory, as well as the death of Admiral Lord Nelson needed to be sent to the Admiralty, London. Lieutenant John Richards Lapenotière was handed despatches and ordered to deliver them to the Admiralty as soon as possible. When his ship landed just off the coast of Falmouth, so would begin his epic 37 hour journey post chaise (via a horse drawn coach) to London. Over 200 years later Ride The Trafalgar Way riders will closely follow that journey."

Whether you are doing one of the individual daily Britannia, Conqueror or Victory routes, doubled up for a twin-leg Thunderer or Defiance, or taken on the mighty 24hr Colossus challenge, celebrate your Trafalgar Way with a personalised memento print. This meticulously detailed artwork covers every road, hill, town and landmark for all the Ride The Trafalgar Way distances.
